Quaint pub ... you can do it!

My wife and I went to eat at Bautzner Tor yesterday and it was just great! We are happy to give 5 stars for the food, the flair and the great, attentive service. We will be back!!

Our regular place during our week-long vacation in Dresden and the surrounding area. Super nice service and really great food. All very down-to-earth cuisine with great value for money. We ate there a total of 5 times and each dish was delicious ?. The ambience is great! But you should definitely make a reservation! If we are in the area again, we will certainly come by again.

A cool bar with the Ostalgic ambience from GDR times is a must-see. The food is really delicious, the service is really quick and very nice. I can really recommend it to everyone!

An absolute classic in the Neustadt district, with a real charm of its own to this day. Food is delicious and inexpensive, as is the really good beer. Anyone who wants to take a short break in Neustadt or end the evening will do everything right here!

My friend and I have been regulars for years. We love the atmosphere, the food, the drinks and of course the always super nice service! Keep up the good work and remain so authentic!

Funny, something different. There are food offered that none of the staff could have experienced but really good. The only shortcoming is the way I deal with Covid, that could be better. But that's generally the case in Dresden! Therefore only 4 out of 5

If you like GDR flair, you've come to the right place. The dishes have been "upgraded" a little - so you get Parmesan instead of Gaouda with the "GDR school food spaghetti" and they are al dente instead of overcooked. Great!

Delicious schnitzel! Best I've had in all of Germany. Really good value too. Huge portion, comes with potatoes and side salad. Would really recommend, cool setting too, some antique furniture and electronics.

A rustic restaurant where you can not only drink a beer but also go to eat. I think that food is mega delicious and freshly cooked to taste. The portions are very ample. The price-performance ratio is right for me.

The best German Food in town

Delicious and such large portions! I split a schnitzel and half was plenty. Everything had great flavor. The service was great. The decor is old fashioned and well done. It's very cozy. Google has it as $, but I'd say it's more like $$.

I was positively surprised. The effect of the outside view continued inside. An old-fashioned neighborhood pub. I mean that very kindly. An open, friendly, competent team welcomes me and my guests. The rooms are furnished with love. There are old tables and chairs that seem to lack some color. But everything that is too beautiful does not fit in here. Functionality is given. Nothing wobbles, there are no cracked spots. The food was great too. The portions plenty. I might order half a serving if that's possible. I didn't pay attention to that. My guests and I were completely satisfied with the stay. Please reserve seats!

In itself one of the best pubs because of the good beer and the food, the Czech cheese is simply divine. But the waitress can really mess up your mood and the evening. Blatant poor gastronomic record!

Authentic German Restaurant ("Kneipe") with a regulars table ("Stammtisch") where you'd find folks playing card game "Skat". Food is good and portions are massive. Despite keeping the charme of the 80s, this place is by no means backwards.

Really nice place for a beer ! In summer people sit outside the bar and drink !! The bar has a kind of retro setup !! Don't forget to try "Neustadt beer" was good !! Remember Cash is king !!

A pub restaurant type of tavern. Decorated with vintage and antiques. Good German food but not very much variety. We felt well attended.

Inn-Kneipe / Must have!

A nice, quaint and traditional restaurant in the Dresden Neustadt. The food (goulash with bread dumplings and red cabbage and a mixed salad) were very fast and also very delicious, there was nothing to complain about. The service was also nice and professional. The location is well located and easy to reach from the old town. A clear recommendation.

A great traditional bar selling gray ales and food.

Don't be deceive by unwelcome look of this place. Atmosphere is one of its kind and food is delicious.

Cost place to get some beers. There is a jukebox there, but music selection is not very wide. Mostly oldies. One more thing: you can smoke inside

Nearest thing to an English pub I have found so far in Dresden. Good beer and food and friendly service. All in all recommended!
